Joaquin Bordado starring Bad Boy Robin Padilla piloted last monday, it's first week of airing was already filled with action and twists. The stunts were cool and the stars' acting were remarkable speacially Iza Calzado who played Robin's wife.

Joaquin Bordado is the story of Joaquin Apacible, an assasin who is hired to kill people who are involved in big time crime, until one day he was assign to kill a leader of a syndicateand he was shocked to find out that it was his broth who he taught was a good person. He was set up and put to jail by his own brother and was killed. But an old man from another dimension handed him a secret powers from tatoos that comes alive.

We can expect more action and suspense now that Joaquin already recieved the powers of the tatoos embeded in his skin.

Joaquin Bordaddo is an adaptation from a comics created by Carlo J. Caparas. There was a film adaptation played by the "Hari ng Agimat" and former Senator Ramon Revilla. I was able to see that movie when I was 8 years old, the movie is entirely different from the TV adaptation, of course the effects in the TV series are more high tech nowadays. I remember that Joaquin died in the movie after he used all his powers to defeat the monster from his tatoo that turned against him. Hope that GMA has a better ending than that of the movie.
