The most popular reality based talent search in the world, the Idol franchise premieres tonight. After conducting auditions all over the Philippines, Pinoy Idol is ready to go. From the qualifiers from the nation wide auditions only 12 finalists will be chosen to qualify for the finals.And from that 12, only one will be chosen to be the first Pinoy Idol.
Pinoy Idol will be hosted by one of the country's top male TV host Raymond Gutierrez. Also Singer-song writer Ogie Alcasid, Pop star and Fashion icon Jolina Magdangal, and Talent Manager Wyngard Tracy will be the judges to determine the first Pinoy Idol.
