Today I've read from an article of a reliable showbiz columnist that after Kamandag, Richard Gutierrez will be doing the TV remake of the action movie Asero, which was played by Cesar Montano in the movie. So this should put an end to the issues that Richard is moving to ABS-CBN. Richard Gutierrez's contract on GMA-7 is about to expire this coming May, that's why gossips that he is moving to the other network spread all over newspapers, and even in the Internet. Richard's mother and manager Annabelle Rama already clarified this issues, she said that Richard will sign another contract for GMA and that there are only some little problems but they can fix it in matter of time.
So there is a different project for Richard, not Captain Barbell meets Darna, in my opinion Asero is better for him, because he already played Captain Barbell before, he should try a different role as a mortal and not with super powers so he can show more of his skills in doing fight scenes and stunts just like how he did in Lupin.
Richard will also narrate the GMA News and Public Affairs' special "Signos", this special will tackle all the issues regarding Global Warming and Climate Change, Richard was chosen to host the program because Richard is self professed Environmentalist.
But in spite all of this clarifications I cannot rest assure that he the Kamandag star will remain as a Kapuso until he signs that contract for GMA, because I know someone who swear ed she will remain Kapuso but became a Kapamilya. Hehehe.
