Angel Locsin is no longer a part of Kokey

Angel Locsin will no longer be a part ABS-CBN's upcoming Fantaserye Kokey@Ako where she supposed to team up with dancer-comedian Vhong Navarro. Angel Locsin was pulled out by the management for another project where she will work with ABS-CBN's drama prince John Lloyd Cruz. Toni Gonzaga will replace Angel Locsin in Kokey@Ako.

MANILA, Philippines - ABS-CBN has confirmed that Angel Locsin would no longer be part of fantaserye “Kokey@Ako.”

Locsin was pulled out from the project to do another teleserye with John Lloyd Cruz.

In a previous interview with Angel Locsin, she wasn't able to give a definite answer as to when she would start taping for Kokey@Ako, ABS-CBN's sequel to its 2007 hit fantaserye Kokey.

Angel Locsin will not be appearing in “Kokey at Ako” anymore.

The fantaserye, which was supposed to star Locsin alongside comedian Vhong Navarro and an E.T.-like character dubbed Kokey, is still rolling along as scheduled even without the former “Darna” star.
