Paula Abdul Believes There's Life After SImon

Former American Idol Judge Paula Abdul is optimistic that American Idol will survive after the departure of Simon Cowell.

"I don't see an end to Idol, I see that there will be many changes," said Abdul. "I tell people don't use the word 'replacement' because you can't replace Simon."

 Simon Cowell was a resident judge American Idol through it's entire existance and he became a household name because of his harsh comments to the contestants. Simon Cowell bid farewell to American Idol during the American Idol 9 finale last month. Simon will not be missed because his brainchild talent search from UK X-Factor will hit America next year.
