Willie Revillame Demands a Release from ABS-CBN

Willie Revillame wants to finish his contract with ABS-CBN. The former Wowowee host called for a press conference yesterday, August 9, 2010 to directly address the ABS-CBN management that he wants to be released from his exclusive contract.

"Ako po ay nagpapaalam na sa ABS-CBN. Tinatapos ko na po ang kontrata ko sa ABS-CBN na naging kapamilya ko."

"Pinag-isipan ko ho 'tong mabuti, ipinagdasal ko at ako po'y nakipag-usap sa mga taong talaga namang nagmamahal sa akin, kapamilya ko, sa mga kaibigang malalapit sa akin, at sa akin pong mga pinagkakatiwalaang abogado, at sa akin pong pinagkakatiwalaan sa business po ng industriya,"

Along with his legal counsels, Willie Revillame directly addresses the Kapamilya management that he is finishing his contract with ABS-CBN and wants to be released. As of now, Willie Revillame has no projects with the Kapamilya Network since his noontime show Wowowee was axed and replaced with Pilipinas! Win na Win, ABS-CBN promised to give him a new show but it looks like Willie is not interested to work as a Kapamilya anymore.

Willie Revillame still has an existing contract with ABS-CBN and it will expired next year in September 2011. Willie is in a stage in showbiz called "frozen dlight", he has a contract but he has no projects, it's up to the Kapamilya Network whether he will have a new show or not. Willie cannot transfer to any network since he has an existing contract, doing so could have him being sued in court due to breach of contract.
