Iya Villania Remains a Kapamilya

Iya Villania will remain as a Kapamilya, that's final! It was reported that Iya Villania will return to GMA-7, sources confirmed that negotiations are on between Iya's manager and the Kapuso Network and they just need to sign on the dotted line to seal the deal. But the Kapamilya Network managed to stop Iya from returning to GMA-7. Last November 18, 2010, Iya Villania renewed her contracts with ABS-CBN and will absolutely remain as a Kapamilya.

Last Sunday sa ASAP XV ay masayang ibinalita ni Iya Villania na mananatili siya sa ABS-CBN.
Nakatakda sanang lumipat si Iya sa GMA-7 dahil may offers ang Kapuso network sa kanya at isa na rito ang makasama niya ang kanyang boyfriend na si Drew Arellano sa isang programa.

Pero noong November 18 ay nag-renew na siya ng kontrata sa ABS-CBN, isang linggo pagkatapos niyang mamaalam sa mga kasamahan niya sa ASAP XV.

“It feels so good, it’s so nice to know… I’m just so very grateful that ABS-CBN still wants me to stay despite their large pool of such talented artists. It’s just so nice to know that despite that, they can still use din pala an Iya,” ang sinabi ng dalaga.

Three years ang pinirmahang kontrata ni Iya sa ABS-CBN at ipagpapatuloy niya ang kanyang mga shows gaya ng Us Girls, ASAP XV at pagiging veejay sa MYX. Bukod dito ay magkakaroon siya ng mga bagong proyekto at kasama rito ang isang soap opera, isang reality show at isang programa na under ng news and public affairs.

Iya Villania's homecoming was delayed. Maybe because ABS-CBN made irresistible counter offer for Iya, or GMA-7 was not showing too much interest on Iya or maybe the entire issue about Iya supposedly transfer to GMA-7 was just a gimmick or plot orchestrated by Iya's camp so that ABS-CBN will be forced to give Iya Villania some projects in the Kapamilya Network, that's one heck of a tactic.
