For 13 consecutive weeks, Hollywood movies ruled the Philippine Box-Office, but a Pinoy movie finally made it to the no.1 spot last week and it's the Katryn Bernardo-Julia Montes starrer "Way Back Home".
The Star Cinema family drama opened last weekend raking P18 million in the box-office beating Hollywood films "Conan the Barbarian" and "Crazy Stupid Love" which also debuted in the country occupying the no.3 and no.4 spots respectively.
Meanwhile, "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" became the first movie to cross the P400 million box-office gross in the Philippines for 2011. The Michael Bay film has grossed P415.74 million in the Philippines in it's 8 weeks of showing.
