American Idol Season 11 Finale Lowest Rated Ever

The American Idol Season 11 was highly anticipated by the Filipino audience here in the country to show moral support to Fil-Mexican finalist Jessica Sanchez who finished as a runner-up to Phillip Phillips. But in America, things turned out quite different as the American Idol 11 Finale registered the lowest ratings ever.

Phillip Phillips is the winner the American Idol Season 11 Finale! For the fifth year in a row, a White Guy With a Guitar(WGWG) won the title jointing the ranks of previous winners David Cook, Kris Allen, Lee DeWyze and Scotty McCreery. Phillip Phillips won after a record breaking 132 Million votes leaving his counterpart Jessica Sanchez in second place.

I've mention here some of the few pointers why Phillip Phillips has a greater chances of winning this year's season of American Idol, including the remarkable streak that since season 7, male contenders which are now called as White Guy With a Guitar won the competition and another factor is the unpredictability of the voters, and those factors came into a play in today's finale show.

Jessica Sanchez made it to the American Idol Season 11 Finale! The 16 year old Filipino-Mexican was the first to be declared safe from elimination by American Idol host Ryan Seacrest. Jessica will be joined by Phillip Phillips in the top 2 for the grand finale next week.

Front-runner Joshua Ledet wasn't able to make it in the top 2 due to low number of votes.

Raymart Santiago and Mon Tulfo NAIA Brawl and Albie Casino Got Beat Up! Philippine Showbiz Goes Extreme!

The entire showbiz world was saddened by two incidents this past weekend. The brawl in NAIA involving actor Raymart Santiago and veteran journalist Mon Tulfo and the other one involving Kapamilya actor Albie Casino which is said to be the father of Andi Eigenmann's baby. Albie was ganged up and got beat up in a bar at Makati. Andi Eigenmann already denied the accusations that she was behind the assault on his ex-boyfriend.
