Sunday Pinasaya, A new and Fresh Brand From GMA-7

Sunday Pinasaya, GMA-7's newest Sunday Noontime show has been airing for three weeks now and I think somehow I have to give my reactions about the show.

Well I think it's an okay show, the hosts are lively, Marian, AiAi, Jose, Wally, Joey and Gerald are incharge of the comedy department while Julie Ann San Jose takes the stage for the musical part of the show and Alden Richards does his pabebe moves as usual.

We just have to make some adjustments with our viewing taste because for the past years we are used to seeing concerts and parties on TV, now we are watching skits just like Saturday Night Live, there are still some musical parts, but very few.

It's a whole new different show on Sunday but at least we are seeing something fresh in this new experiment from the same people who produces Philippines longest running noontime show Eat Bulaga. Unlike GMA-7's previous Sunday Shows SOP, Party Pilipinas, and Sunday All Stars (R.I.P to them by the way) and even their rival program A.S.A.P which endulges us with the same performances over and over again, singing the same line-up of songs and dancing the same music and moves every Sunday, I think for those who wants something new for their Sunday viewing routine, Sunday Pinasaya is the right show.

Finally we are free from those buwis buhay performances, the overcrowded stage filled with dancers doing their own steps, those so called hunks who sings off key and out of tune, those starlets who sings in but shows off their bumps rather that their voices, those performances from Jaya, and Regine that had them strugging to hit the high notes they use to do during their prime and finally we are free from those mediocre performances from GMA-7's noontime show which shows us a rehearsal rather than a smooth and clean show.

Sunday Pinasaya is a brand new show, way different from what we used to see, but this is an alternative. And I suggest to just give it a try, I've been a critique of Sunday All Stars and I would welcome any replacements for that show whatever brand it is as long as it's new and fresh.
