Mark Herras, Yasmien Kurdi and Katrina Halili from Starstruck Batch 1 will work together in a new upcoming afternoon soap from GMA-7 titled "Womb For Hire".
Yasmien Kurdi will play the role of a sorrogate/baby maker mother for Mark Herras and Katrina Halili's child.
The plot of this new soap resembles the 1986 classic film "Palimos ng Pag-ibig" starring Vilma Santos, Edu Manzano and Dina Bonnevie. The movie with the classic line "Para kang karinderyang bukas sa lahat ng gustong kumain!".
In 2007 it was remade by ABS-CBN which starred Kristine Hermosa, Diether Ocampo and Rica Peralejo.
Am I talking about the Mark-Yasmien-Katrina soap or the movie? Sorry I just can't keep from comparing. But it's good to see the Starstruck 1 members working together again.
