Comic Book Review: Rasputin #3

Rasputin #3
Publisher: Image Comics
Writer: Alex Grecian
Artist: Riley Rossmo
Colorist: Ivan Plascencia
Letterer: Thomas Mauer

I have here the review of Rasputin #3 from Image Comics. This was actually a late review because the long holidays caused some shipment delay to my favorite comic book store. If Rasputin #1 and #2 were fast paced, in issue #3 there was a little slow down. And just like the first two issues, there were very few words, the illustrations in each panel speaks for themselve, maybe the dynamic duo of Alex Grecian and Riley Rossmo made it that way to allow readers to imagine what each illustrations were saying. It's like those comic strips without dialogues from the newspaper.

5 Reasons Why Image Comics is My Favorite Comic Book Publisher

Image Comics has become my favorite publisher since I started my Comic Book collection last year, so far I'm following four series from them, Spawn, Rasputin, Wytches and Rumble. Of course, when we speak of comic books two big names of publishers pops out in our mind, Marvel and DC. But there are reasons why Image Comics is gaining popularity from readers, collectors and critics and reasons why those who haven't added Image Comics in their collection should now rush to the nearest Comic Book store and grab one title now.

Comic Book Review: Wytches #3

Wytches #3
story: Scott Snyder
art: Jock
colors: Matt Hollingsworth
letters: Clem Robins
editor: David Brothers
publisher: Image Comics

Disturbing and scary but yet engaging, that's how to describe Wytches #3. This time, writer Scott Snyder shows readers that real-life fears are even scarier than any supernatural events, as the parents of Sailor, the protagonist of the story turns so much emotional in search of their daughter who was lost in the woods. As parents, you always wanted your child to be safe from any types predicaments, and when something bad happens to your child, you're filled with emotions and fears and that's how Snyder wants the readers to feel. And also by that, the readers are engaged to the story wanting to grab the next issue.
