Last week, American Idol held it's first elimination night, and David Hernandez was the first one to go. David along with Kristy Lee Cook and Syesha Mercado was in the bottom three, but David was not lucky enough to survive. I thought Kristy was gonna be eliminated cause she was the one who got the most of criticism from the judges, but that did not turned out to be.
If you remember David's being chosen to be in the Final 12 was controversial because he admitted that he used to be a male stripper from a gay bar, many suggested that he should get disqualified for that.
Now, there are conspiracy theories that his sexy moves in his performance is the reason why he got eliminated. But according to many who watched his performance, it's poor selection of song that got him ousted. "David sang I saw her Standing there" from the Beatles, he turned the song into jazz and the judges didn't like his rendition, another factor could be the audience votes. Maybe he wasn't so popular with the viewer's so he got eliminated.
