GMA-7's Asianovela "The Legend" made it's pilot week. The Legend is the highest rating epic drama in Korea for 2007, now it's in the Philippines. What makes me it interesting for me is they mention the name of "Jumong", one of the hit Koreanovela in Korea and also in the Philippines, then when I watched it, I found out that it is the story of the 19th descendant of Jumong, the King of Goguryeo, and in one of it's scene I saw the symbol of the Three Legged Crow, the same symbol used in Jumong.
The only difference, "The Legend" used Computer Graphics, it's like an RPG games in the computers. And some characters in the story possesses magical powers. In the story of the legend it also featured th four gods, the Phoenix, Tiger, Turtle-Snake, and the Dragon, just like in the hit anime Fu-shi Gi Yuugi.
Surely this Asianovela would be the talk of the town and would make it big just like Jumong. Anyway Korean star Bae Yong Joon the star of Winter Sonata leads the power house cast of "The Legend". It airs weeknights on the GMA Telebabad after Kamandag.
