Celtics are Champions!

The Boston Celtics won this years NBA Finals and earned their 17th NBA Championship after beating the Los Angeles Lakers 131-92 in Game 6.

After 22 years of waiting, the Boston Celtics finally earned their 17Th world Championship in their home town of Boston Massachusetts. Right from the star of the game, Boston showed tough defense against Los Angeles as the crowd yelled "Beat LA" that boost their spirit even more.

Paul Pierce scored 17 points and was hailed as the Finals MVP, Kevin Garnett lead the Celtics with 24 points and 14 rebounds.

The game was so lop sided for the Lakers that lost with a huge 39 point deficit. MVP Kobe Bryant did not get any good shot as the Boston Defense bothered him all through out the game.

The Boston Celtics Hall of Famer Bill Russel was their to witness the historic win for Boston.

That 131-92 victory of Boston break the record of the biggest winning margin in NBA Finals. The other one was in 1965 where the Celtics also beat The Lakers 126-96.
