Lakers Beat Celtics in Game 3

Lakers Superstar Kobe Bryant proved why he is the MVP after leading the Lakers in an 87-81 win over the Celtics in Game 3 of the NBA Finals 2008.

After their sloppy play in Games 1 & 2, the Los Angeles Lakers finally took a victory in their home town of Los Angeles. One more lost could have put the Lakers in a 3-0 deficit, and in the history of NBA no team was able to come back to win from a 3-0 deficit. Kobe Bryant scored 36 points and Vujavic added20 points including 3 triples and one of those Threes gave the Lakers an 81-76 lead with 1:53 remaining in the game.

Pau Gasol made two crucial baskets in the fourth quarter and Derek Fisher made two charity shots in the crucial minute of the game. For the Boston Celtics, Ray Allen made 25 points and Kevin Garnett added 13 points.

Game 4 will still be at Staples Center where the Lakers remains undefeated(9-0) in the Playoffs won 15 straight games for 3 months while Celtics are 2-8 in the postseason.

The Lakers cannot afford relax after that Game 3 win, their still down 2-1 and they have to make it tie with 2 all to avoid being down 3 games to 1, I don't remember any team that came back form 3-1 and won the finals, just like the Lakers did back in 2004 where they got beaten by Detroit 4-1. Good luck Lakers!!!
