I've heard this song from Nicole Scherzinger, but when I found out that this was a Backstreet Boys song I immediately look for their version, and I think their version sound much better. And that would be bias because I'm a certified Backstreet Boys fan. Backstreet Boys Rules!!!!!!!

Francis M. and Ely Buendia are back!

On the October 25 episode of Eat Bulaga yesterday, the No. 1 noontimeshow had a special treat all th spectators inside the studio and for the televiewers at home. It's the return of Ely Buendia and Francis Magalona who had their struggles in the past, but now their back doing what they does best.

It was Ely Buendia with his band Pupil who started to perform on the stage singing "Disconnection Notice". The crowd went on their feet and even the Eat Bulaga Dabarkads went wild as Ely sang. This is just the first time for Ely to perform live in the public after being rushed to the hospital right in the middle of the Eraserheads Reunion Concert last August 30 at The Fort. The singer underwent angioplasty and took a rest for a couple of months.

After Ely, it was Francis Magalona's turn to get the people on their feet, and the Broadway Centrum was filled by cheers and applause from the audience. Kiko performed "Super Proxy" an Eraserheads song and of course he sang it with Ely Buendia. Francis Magalona was not seen on Eat Bulaga for a couple of months after being diagnosed with leukemia and had to undergo a series of chemotheraphy for his treatment. Francis M. repeatedly said to the crowd "I'm Back Home!".

After their performance, Julia Clarete and Michael V. joined them on stage and when asked if this is a sign that their back in doing gigs, Ely Buendia replied "Definitely", while the Master Rapper just answered "Mga Dalawang Hatsing na lang, maghu-host na uli ako dito sa Eat Bulaga".

Kris Aquino Returns to The Buzz

After the suspension of Cristy Fermin from ABS-CBN's The Buzz, rumors about Kris Aquino's return to the show became loud. And it was finally confirmed, Kris Aquino will once again join Boy Abunda to reform their tandem, although the two of them were seen daily on Boy and Kris, many televiewers have missed their tandem on The Buzz.

Of course, Boy Abunda was happy to hear that news, and also Ruffa Gutierrez who is also one of the host s of The Buzz. Contrary to early reports The Buzz will not be move to a new timeslot. Because rumors has it that The Buzz will be moved to Saturday prior to Kris' own request to have Sunday as her off because she wanted to take care of her family and her  mother Corazon C. Aquino who was a former President of the Philippines.

Startalk VS. The Buzz

I have read from a source Tabloid that ABS-CBN is planning to move The Buzz on to a new timeslot, and this time they want it to be seen opposite GMA's long-running and Number 1 Saturday Afternoon Talkshow Startalk.

If this really happens, it will be a war between the two long-running talkshows of rival stations GMA and ABS-CBN. And in addition ABS-CBN might also be planning to re-instate The Buzz's co-host Kris Aquino. But according to the Startalk camp they are not threatened and they are more than prepared for that, and added that they will not last 13 years if they are not prepared for situations like this.

Startalk will be celebrating it's 13th year anniversary, and they wanna call it Lucky 13.

Joey De Leon And Willie Revillame Reconciles

October 16, Fridaynight, the broadsheet Philippine Star held it's first ever "Supreme To The Extreme Award. It happened at the Embasy Super Club at The Fort, Taguig City. And along side that event, a monumental site took Place.

Rival Noontime Show hosts Joey De Leon of Eat Bulaga and Willie Revillame of  Wowowee were both present in that event, they both recieve and award. Willie got the Televisionary Award while Joey De Leon got the highest award called The Supremo Award. When the two guys met, they finally settled their issues, they ended up hugging, shaking hands and even saying "I Love You" at each other.

The entire video footage of the incident was shown on Willie's noontime show Wowowee. The two clarified that what the people sees on TV where they are exchanging harsh words against each doesnt mean they are fighting but those are just what they called "Lambingan".

Willie Revillame called his reconcilliation with Joey De Leon "Historical". And why not? this two had some real big issue before. Since the Wilyonaryo Scam, and the incident where Joey called Willie's co-host Pokwang "Aswang", the two finally settled their differences, and it's a miracle. We could just hope it's not "Kaplastikan".

I have read once that Chris Brown is coming to Manila, and I think that was good news. But that good news has just got better, because Chris Brown is not coming here alone.

Chris Brown will be joined by another biggest selling recording star and his real life sweetheart Rihanna.
That's cool isnt it? That much awaited concert will be held at the Bonifacio Global City Open Field in Taguig on November 16, 2008 for one night only.

You can bet that it will be one of the biggest concert event for this year. Chris Brown is the RnB superstar behind the phenomenal hit "With You" and "Superhuman", while Rihanna made popular of the song "Umbrella", she also released her latest single "Disturbia".

There is really no stopping Richard Gutierrez. After the success of his movie "For The First Time" with KC Concepcion and his Soap Opera "Codename: Asero". Richard was chosen by the ACS Manufacturing Corporation as the newest product endorser for the re-launching of Unique Toothpaste.

According to ACS Manufacturing Corporation President Alfonso C. Supetran, they chose from a line-up of celebrities to endorse their product, and they ended up choosing Richard as the latest endoser for the Toothpaste, because of his overwhelming popularity and according to them Richard is the perfect picture of health which is the main priority of Unique.

At the Mandarin Suites in Gateway, Richard was given a grand launch as the latest endorser for Unique and they featured an impressive TVC showing Richard as a superhero using his fighting skills and stunts to fight the villians, and his enemies are non other than the Plaques, Tartar, Cavities and Bacterias that destroys the teeth. The TVC was conceptualized by Richard himself and he did all the stunts without using double.

Asid from Unique Toothpaste, Richard is also the product endorser for a Telecommunications Company, Shampoo, and a Glutathione Supplement.  

Obra Featuring Sunshine Dizon

After some months of hiatus, Sunshine Dizon is back on primetime TV, this time via GMA's Drama Anthology "Obra".

Just like the first presentations of  "Obra" the featured Katrina Halili and JC De Vera, Sunshine Dizon will also play four different characters all weeks of October. In the first episode Sunshine will play the role of a 70's sexy star, the episode is entitled "Drama Queen". Sunshine will also play the role of a lesbian and a black woman.

All episodes will be directed by top caliber directors of our country. Sunshine is also doing a film with Robin Padilla entitle "Sundo" under GMA Films, and she will also do the Pinoy version of the hit Koreanovela "All About Eve" opposite Iza Calzado.

Francis Magalona's Birthday Celebaration on Eat Bulaga turned emotional yesterday.

Eventhough The Master Rapper couldn't make it to the Broadway Centrum due to continues treatment for his Leukemia, the Eat Bulaga Dabarkads still gave Francis M. a grand birthday celebration.

Francis was so touched and was very thankful to the whole Dabarkads and EB's execs Mr. Tony Tuviera and Malou Choa-Fagar for their non stop support. The Master Rapper even promoted his clothing line "Three Stars and a Sun" that features shirts with Filipino design showing just how Patriotic he is, and he has a store on Broadway Centrum.

Certified Box Office Queen and Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo is truly phenomenal after her movie "A Very Special Love" with John Lloyd Cruz became this biggest grossing film not only for this year but an all time record.

And as an addition to that she is releasing her latest album "Just Me" featuring the single "I'll Be There" which is a duet with Backstreet Boys member Howie Dorough. An just last Sunday Howie D. came over and did a special number with Sarah on ASAP '08.

Truly an amazing year for Sarah isn't it? I'll admit that yours truly is a certified Kapuso among all the Kapamilya stars, Sarah is my favorite.
