Dingdong and Marian Forever?

Despite all the intrigues being thrown against Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, their movie "One True Love" still managed to get box office success. For once I thought that these film has a "Nega" appeal to the fans due to the recant break-up between Dingdong and Karylle that dragged Marian's name as the thied party. But that did'nt seem to affect the outcome of their film, in fact "One True Love" grossed P8 Million during it's first day of showing.

Meanwhile, the Marian and Dingdong fans will be sad to hear that their upcoming soap opera "Ang Babaing Hinugot sa aking Tadyang" will be their last project together because GMA Execs are planning to give them different partners. Rumors has it that Dingdong Dantes will be paired up with Heart Evangelista while Marian Rivera will team up with Richard Gutierrez. That sounds nice, but fans should keep their fingers crossed.

Survivor Philippines: Castaways Down to Seven

The Survivor Philippines Tribal Council last Friday was truly breath taking. Charisse won the Immunity challenge which made her exempted from the voting.

It seemed that the former Jarakay Tribe of Marlon, Charisse and Vern were planning to vote of JC knowing that Kaye and Cris were still on their side. But in the Tribal Council were jury members Jace and Kiko were there to watch, they were unanimous in voting for Rob, probably because they won't wanna waste their chance they got knowing that Rob has that Black Pearl which gives him 1 vote automatically which made him so irate. But the former Naak Tribe remained solid and lived up to their promise that they will bring the Naak to the top 5.

In the end, Vern was the one voted off  leaving the Castaways down to just seven. But before she left, she gave the Black Pearl to Charisse, giving it one vote against herself. Actually there were rumors the the top 5 Castaways were consisted of all Naak Tribe Members, so that could only means that Marlon and Charisse's days are numbered. Actually I want the two of them to get voted off, because they are so annoting, they think they have the other Castaways at the palm of their hands, but the truth is their like sheeps surrounded by a pack of wolves.

The remaining Castaways are Charisse, Marlon, Rob, JC, Zita, Cris,  and Kaye

Kakasa Ka Ba Sa Grade 5: Second Semester

Yesterday Kakasa Ka Ba Sa Grade 5 rolled it's Second Semester hosted by the Chairman Of The Blackboard himself Janno Gibbs with a new batch of Classmates namely David Omilla (Claret School of Quezon City), Jules Cyber Cruz (Lourdes School of Mandaluyong), Matthew Kyle Oronce (Diliman Preparatory School), Gloria Viloria Larin (Lagro Elem. School), Michael Brian Alvarez (Lourdes School of Mandaluyong), Pauline Allyson Abalos (University of the Philippines Integrated School), Louis Luthy (Claret School of Quezon City), Ram Louis del Mundo (Colegio de San Juan de Letran), Katherine Anne Pavino (Colegio San Agustin) and Russel Krashmere Garcia (Colegio San Agustin). This kids are the brightest Grade 5 students from different schools who will help the contestants to win up to P1 Million.

This Game Show is based from the Popular Game Show in the U.S Are You Smarted Than A 5th Grader?which already has adaptations on many countries now including the Philippines. The objective of the game is simple, the contestants will have to answer 10 questions and if they finished that, the contestant will have a chance for the P1 Million question,  if they have a hard time answering, the classmates are there to help them using three cheats Peak, Copy, and Save.

The challenging factor on this Game Show is that the contestants have to answer elementary questions that some of us have already forgotten after such a long time. Most viewers and contestants even ask "Did we have this lesson during elementary?".

Kakasa Ka Ba Sa Grade 5  Season 2 is seen on GMA 7 every Saturday after Pinoy Records.

Dingdong Dantes Speaks

After Dingdong Dantes confirmed his break up with Karylle, the issue about a third doesnt wanna die. Fans also would'nt wanna bite his denial that his leading lady Marian Rivera is the one responsible for their break up. So Dingdong Dantes issued an official statement to disentangle all the issues regarding his controversial break up with Karylle once and for all.

Here is Dingdong's full official statement regarding their well publicised break up which was issued on Startalk and Showbiz Central:

"Once and for all, I would like to put an end to the many speculations, many talks and many questions about a very personal matter in my life right now. It is affecting people who are very dear to me.

"I admit that I had a relationship that may have taken a wrong turn and for this, I am sorry. The respect and the care will always remain. That is why knowing someone is hurting, hurts me even more.

"Dahil dito, hinihingi ko po ang inyong pang-unawa. Bigyan n'yo po kami ng panahon. Please give us space and the privacy that we need to heal and to move on with the decision that has been made. Please blame no one because that would be very unfair. Our shortcomings, our differences and our faults remain as we heal because above everything, at the end of the day, it is the respect for the ones we love that truly matters. Salamat po."

And regarding this whole break up issue, Marian Rivera, being the person pointed as the third party also issued a statement to clear her name. Here's what she said:

Puwede kayong mag-fail o puwede kayong mag-stick together lalo. Nasa inyo na po ‘yon, di ba?

"Kung tunay at wagas ang pagtititnginan ninyo sa isa't isa, at you can stand the test of time, hindi kayo maghihiwalay. Pagsubok kasi ‘yan.

"Maraming salamat."

Dingdong Dantes Confirms Breakup with Karylle

The rumors about couples Dindong Dantes and Karylle's breakup are over, this is after Dingdong Dantes comfirmed that it's over between the two of them.

Dingdong said that they tried to iron things out to save their 3-years relationship but things didn't worked out for them. However, Dingdong denied the rumors dragging his loveteam Marian Rivera's name as the cause of their break-up. Dingdong added that this is not a publicity stunt or gimmick to promote his movie "One True Love" with Marian Rivera as her leading Lady. And in his interview in 24 Oras, Dindong seemed to stopped tears from falling down from his eyes and said "Kaya ko to".

Hmm, most people would probably assume that this is a publicity stunt for their movie. We could even assume that Dingdong and Marian really have a romance since Marian have also broke-up with her boyfriend Ervic Vijandre. Who knows?
