One of my favorite audition in last night's
American Idol Season 9 Dallas auditions on
QTV 11 was that of
Erica Rhodes, 23 yrs. old from Irving, Texas, she sang
"Free Your Mind" by
En Vogue and she has a remarkable voice and that unique black outfit with matching a whip as her props.

But what's cute about
Erica was her background, she used to be a part of
Barney and Friends when she was a kid,
Erica even sang a sample of the Barney theme song, which I thought will be accepted by the judges as her audition song.
Erica auditioned for
American Idol Season 9 because she wants to prove that
Barney kids grow up and evolve from being just little kids who sings and acts.
