TV Updates 1/24/10

Her are some of the buzz and updates I've gatheres from everywhere:

Wowowee Reformats: The noontimeshow which is hosted by the very humble Willie Revillame will undergo a reformat, and the reason is because the show is being threaten by it's pre-programming show Showtime. Recent survey shows that the battle for the best variety show is now between Eat Bulaga! and Showtime, and Wowowee staffs fears to be pushed away from the sceen. I'm not sure if that's a good reason to make a reformat because Wowowee is lately recieving feedbacks that the show is filled with too many dancers, you would'nt even notice the hosts because the dancers are greater in number.

The new show to replace Sis: GMA Network is now conceptualizing the show which will replace the defunct Sis, but it will no longer be a variety show which will be hosted by Bayani Agbayani, Mommy Dionisia and Manny Pacquiao. The vacated timeslot was given by GMA to TAPE Inc., the producer of Eat Bulaga! And knowing TAPE Inc., I'm sure they will do an afternoon drama in that timeslot to go head to head with ABS-CBN's Showtime.

May Buka Pa's final two weeks: ABS-CBN's top rating drama series May Bukas Pa is down to it's remaining two weeks. For it's remaining two week of airing Ryan Agoncillo will be the special guest. I don't really watch May Bukas Pa, but I saw the teaser, it's like 2012, there is an earthquake and it seems that the end of the world is near, can Santino do something about it?

Serpent women join forces to defeat Darna: The two serpent sisters Valentina(Iwa Moto) and Serpina(Katrina Halili) finally join forces to defeat the Pinay super heroin Darna(Marian Rivera). The two serpents acquaired new powers, is this the end for Darna?
