Ellen Degeneres Makes her Idol Debut

Ellen Degeneres finally made her debut as an Idol judge to take the place of the departed Paula Abdul, and Ellen did great on her first day in American Idol. Her opinions are honest and but not so harsh for the contestants and she also provided the contestants and the viewers with her funny antiques and well-timed punchlines.
Ellen Degeneres recieved criticisms eversince she was chosen to become a judge in American Idol and on her first day as a judge she addressed the 181 contestants in Kodak Theater what she has to say to those critiques:

“People say, ‘What do you know about music?’” DeGeneres said. “I’ll tell you what I do know. I do know what it’s like to stand onstage and try to please an entire room full of people. That is a hard thing to do.”
