A Guy Howard Stern to Replace Simon Cowell on Idol

The search for Simon Cowell's replacement on American Idol had began. Simon Cowell is set to leave Idol in Season 10 but the producers are willing to pursue with American Idol even without the colorful judge. And the producer's prospect to replace Simon Cowell is a radio announcer guy named Howard Stern.

An Idol insider told the New York Post:

"It's one of the few shows that could compete with Stern's $100 million-a-year Sirius contract, and 'Idol' bosses think he'd be even nastier than Simon. "They know he would be great TV and would clash with the other judges such as Ellen DeGeneres and the contestants. 'Idol' will do what it takes to sign him."

The Idol producers are willing to continue with more seasons of American Idol with or without Simon, but I wander how this guy Howard Stern could fill for Simon. But many believed that this rumors are just publicity stunts because this guy Howard Stern was the one who announced in his radio show that FOX is offering him to do Idol, and they believed that he made the announcement because his radio show is about to be axed and he seemed to be threathening his producers that he is ready to leave if he does'nt get his contract renewed. We'll will see how this things turns out.
