Marian Rivera to Star in the Super Inday Remake

Marian Rivera is set to star in the remake of "Super Inday" which was originally done by the the Diamond Star Maricel Soriano. This remake will also be produced by Regal Films just like the original and it will be Regal's official entry to the 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival.

This remake has a working title "Super Inday and the Magic Bebe", while the original film starring Maricel Soriano had the title "Super Inday and the Golden Bibe". Also starring in the original version was former child star Aiza Seguerra who played the role of a magical duck that lays golden eggs and transforms into a human, it's cast also includes Eric Quizon, Janno Gibbs, Manilyn Reynes, Nova Villa, Jimmy Santos and Mel Soriano. To give you a piece of trivia about the film, Maricel Soriano transforms to "Super Inday" everytime she eats the fresh egg laid by Aiza Seguerra.


I'm proud to say na napanood ko nang maraming beses yung original na "Super Inday" at masasabi ko na bagay na bagay kay Marian yung role dahil may pagkakapareho yung style nila ni Maricel Soriano sa comedy, pati sa timing parehong pareho sila.
