Alfred Vargas is Type Casted on TV Series with Mermaid Plots

Alfred Vargas's first assignment as a Kapamilya is ABS-CBN's upcoming fantaserye "Pablo Gomez' Mutya". First time I heard the title, I thought that this will be a "Beauty Serye" just like GMA-7's "Beauty Queen, and not to mention that former Miss International Precious Lara Quigaman will be the lead star for "Mutya". But now we know that "Mutya" is a fantaserye which features Mermaids on it's plot.

 So it just makes me wonder, does Alfred Vargas loves Mermaids and Fishes? Because if you'll take a look back on Alfred Vargas' past TV projects, he has become a leading man for mermaids. Look, on his very first project on GMA-7, Alfred was the leading man of Rufa Mae Quinto's mermaid character in the fantaserye titled "Marinara", then he became one of Marian Rivera's leading man in the fantaserye "Dyesebel", now he transferred to the Kapamilya Network to become Precious Lara Quigaman's leading man in "Mutya" which marks the return of Mermaids on primetime TV.

Doesn't Alfred feels like being type casted on a same role? When Alfred Vargas' manager Lolit Solis explained why she chose "Mutya" as Alfred's next project rather that GMA-7's offer "Amaya", Lolit said that Alfred's role in "Mutya" is much "meaty" but to me it's like "fishy" hahaha. Joke! Peace.
