Angel Locsin and Anne Curtis Reacts Over MMDA Billboard Campaign

Angel Locsin and Anne Curtis reacted via their Twitter accounts following the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) to dismantle their EDSA Billboards on July 11, Monday.

The Kapamilya actresses exchanged tweets on Tuesday, July 12 and expressed their sentiments on MMDA's campaign to pull down their "offensive" images along EDSA.

Anne's tweet corrected the MMDA, stating that there are "No Billboards in bra. The most in bikinis!"

"Pero walang billboard now as they have claimed na pwede tanggalin ngayon. So i think MALI ang statement from the @MMDA. The only billboard I have along Boni-Edsa is SMDC yata at naka GOWN ako dun!!!"

Angel, on the one hand, tweeted Anne a line accompanied by a photo of a news item mentioning their names and their "sexy" billboards: "Kelan tayo nagka-ad na naka-bra lang anita?:p"

Angel Locsin also commented: "BATHING SUIT. ONE PIECE. I used to have BB na topless, naka-2piece & one piece, wala namang issue :p"

She next directed at the MMDA a retort: "if u think offensive our BB's na in a DECENT Bathing Suit & Gown po, fine :) don't use our names na lang 2 promote whatever u r doing :)"

The two Kapamilya actresses are right. I think that the Metro Manila Development Authority are just using Angel Locsin and Anne Curtis as publicity props to promote their "Operation Roll Down, Baby,". They just want to show the people that they are doing something to minimize the traffic jams and major road accidents.

To the Metro Manila Development Authority, instead of using the names of celebrities to impress the public, why don't you ask your men to do their jobs and direct traffic on the roads properly and not hiding under the trees and just waiting for traffic offenders "na pwede nilang delihensiyahan!"
