The Backstreet Boys are coming back with a new album in 2012. But that's not just the good news to all Backstreet Boys fans, it was also confirmed that Kevin Richardson who left the band in 2006 will be rejoining the group for their eight studio LP.

News also told that the Backstreet Boys will have another tour with the New Kids On The Block, with Kevin Richardson rejoining BSB that would make NKOTBSB complete with all ten members.

As a Backstreet Boys fan, I think it's great that Kevin Richardson finally decided to rejoin the group, although he left 6 years ago, I'm still not used in seeing them with only four members. The New Kids On The Block is complete with all five original members, so it's just even that BSB will also have five.

And about the new album, I think that the Backstreet Boys should stick with adult contemporary and power ballads, club mixes and dance doesn't suit them anymore due to age factor. Their previous album "This Is Us" although managed to debut in the Top 10 of the Top 200 Album Charts still was a lackluster. Their fifth and sixth studio album "Never Gone" and "Unbreakable" respectively fits accordingly to their ages, the songs sounded mature and strong. I think it is best for them to come back with those kind of songs.
