Kapuso Actress Marian Rivera is once again on the headlines after a shocking decision to leave her long time manager and friend Popoy Caritativo and and jump into the yard of APT Entertainment Producer Antonio P. Tuviera.
The entertainment press have all the rights to get shocked with the way things turned out because more than just a manager and a talent, Marian Rivera and Popoy Caritativo were also good friends. And Popoy was the one responsible to bring Marian closer to the fans and the press, some said it was so difficult to do that, but with Popoy's public relation and career handling expertees, Marian Rivera became what she is today.
Just imagine if Popoy didn't adviced Marian to audition for Marimar, maybe she is still stucked with minor roles and afternoon soaps.
But if we look at the other side, Marian Rivera just came back in the yard ofvthe person who discovered her. Tony Tuviera saw Marian Rivera in a TV Commercial and asked Popoy Caritativo to look for her, after that Marian starred in afternoon soaps produced by APT Entertainment and TAPE Inc. and made her movie debut in Enteng Kabisote 2 and the rest is history.
We are yet to hear from Marian's ex-manager Popoy Caritativo and Mr. Tuviera who still haven't spoke since Marian's big announcement but we look forward to that. And can't wait to see what Mr. Tuviera has to offer for Marian. Her contract with GMA-7 expires this August and they can opt whether to renew it or not. Knowing Mr. Tuviera who is behind the longest running noontime show Eat Bulaga, I'm sure she will not limit Marian Rivera inside GMA-7's yard. Perhaps we might see her do projects outside Kapuso Network or maybe permanently work outside her mother network. Marian Rivera has this intriguing answer duringbthe presscon of her big announcemen. Regarding her GMA-7 contract which is about to expire in August, she said "hindi ko sinasara ang pintuan sa ibang network" and "pagdating ng August, magkikita-kita tayo kung saan ako pupunta". Strong ang meaningful words from Marian, I can't wait for that.
