Confirmed, Party Pilipinas is taking a final bow. During the closing number today, one of it's host Ogie Alcasid announced that today is one of the two remaining episodes of Party Pilipinas, the other one will be next week.
As of now, we are still clueless on what type of show would replace PP, some rumors says that it would be replaced with a reality show rather that a Sunday variety show.
We are yet to hear about the future of Kapuso Network's Sunday afternoon time slot. But you have to wander what could have caused the axing of Party Pilipinas? Ratings would be the top reason but I think it was doing good against it's rival show ASAP. But pay attention to this, sources ssy that there is a backstage war between the two directors of Party Pilipinas Rico Gutierrez and Mark Reyes, and the bad blood between the two divided the casts and the production crew into two factions and triggered GMA-7's entertainment big bosses to cancel the show before everything reach to it's boiling point.
Sad story for Party Pilipinas, a lot of people would loose their jobs just because their two old directors acted as little children and didn't want to settle their differences to improve their show.
