Richard Gutierrez is the New Host of Survivor Philippines Season 3!

It's finally confirmed. Richard Gutierrez will be the new host of Survivor Philippines Season 3. We would recall that Richard Gutierrez declined the Survivor Philippines hosting job due to hectic schedules in shooting his upcoming return as Captain Barbell and the movie where he will co-star with Anne Curtis and Claudine Barretto. There were also rumors that GMA is also choosing betwwen Dingdong Dantes and Ryan Agoncillo to handle the third installment of Survivor Philippines. But because Richard Gutierrez is truly the undisputed Primetime king of GMA-7, the Kapuso network fixed his schedules.

The return of Captain Barbell will happened sometime in October and I think GMA Films have also arranged the shooting schedules for Richard's next movie, so no problem at all. Due to this latest developments, Richard is gonna have to leave the country once Survivor Philippines Season 3 starts shooting. The Kapuso Network made a perfect choice in choosing Richard as the new host of Survivor Philippines because Richard is an environment advocate and he once hosted environmental shows like Full Force Nature and Signos. Although Survivor Philippines is not an environmental show but it contains the elements of the wild, surviving in an island for 39 days.

I can already imagine Richard saying the Survivor Philippines taglines like "Survivors Ready!", "Malalim na ang gabi, balik na sa Camp", and "Nagsalita na ang Tribo". And without a doubt, this will be the highest rating Survivor Philippines since it will be hosted by Richard Gutierrez who is oozing with star powers. Remember "Full Force Nature" and "Signos", those programs were shown in late night but it rated well because of Richard. A well known columnist said from Bediones to Gutierrez. What he meant by that was Paolo Bediones who left  and transferred to TV 5. Watch out Paolo, because Richard will match your performance.
