American Idol 9 Results: Janell Wheeler, Ashley Rodriguez, Joe Munoz and Tyler Grady Were Eliminated

American Idol 9 had it's first result night last Friday. I have here the full recap of the show. Ryan Seacrest started the show by announcing that over 24 Million votes came in for that week. And the judges gave some assesments. The Top 24 performed "American Boy" by Estelle in the opening number.

Ryan proceeded with the elimination process starting with the girls, the same plot as usual dim the lights, back row stand up. Siobhan goes first...she's safe, Haeley was next...she stays for another week, Michelle...is safe too, Katelyn's turn...she is safe, Katie and Janell were left standing, who goes home? It's Janell Wheeler. Janell sang her final song.

Allison Iraheta returned to the Idol stage and performed her new single "Scars". After the number Allison shared her experiences on Idol and gave some nit of advice to the contestants. Now back to the intense elimination, it's the front row girls' turn. Paige was called first...she's safe, Lacey's turn...sit down, you're staying, how about Lilly...she's staying too, Crystal is next...sit down, you're safe. Ashley and Didi were left...Didi is safe, Ashley is eliminated and sang her final song.

Now it's the boys' turn to be in the pressure cooker. Ryan started with the back row. Mike stand up...you're safe, John Park is next...he's safe too, Aaron...stays for another week, Todrick...is safe, Joe and Tim were left...Joe Munoz ends his Idol journey.

Ryan Seacrest announced about the Idol Gives Back news. Kris Allen performed a legendary John Lennon song "Let It Be", the song is available in Itunes for download and 100% of the proceeds will go to the Haiti earthquake victims.

The elimination continues with the front row boys. Casey James was first...he's safe, Jermain...safe, Lee...stays for another week, Andrew Garcia was next...he's safe, Tyler and Alex were the bottom two, Tyler Grady is eliminated. By the way, earlier that night Ryan showed a footage where Tyler was in the stage rehearsing with a bathrobe, Tyler said he's trying to make himself comfortable, but that did'nt worked out.
