ABS-CBN Introduced Their New Shows

ABS-CBN introduced new shows in a trade show for advertisers last Sunday night in Boracay. ABS-CBN has a whole new line-up of programs which are guranteed to get more viewers glued to their television sets.

A lot of new show were introduced in that trade launch but the highlight of the presentation are the programs Kokey starring Vhong Navarro and Toni Gonzaga, we could recall that it was supposed to be Angel Locsin who should be in Kokey but the ABS-CBN Management pulled her out of the show and was replaced by Toni Gonzaga. Meanwhile, Angel Locsin was pulled out from Kokey so she could do another teleserye with John Lloyd Cruz, and that teleserye is entitled Immortal: Lobo 2 which is a sequel for the internationally acclaimed Lobo which earned Angel Locsin a nomination in the International Emmys. In Lobo, Angel Locsin worked with Piolo Pascual, but this time, a new chemistry between Angel and John Lloyd will be tested. Piolo Pascual will be working with Zaijian Jaranilla(Santino) and Kathryn Bernardo(young Agua Bendita) in new series but the title and the concept is still being worked out. Gretchen Barretto, Bea Alonzo and Derek Ramsay will top-bill Magkaribal, this is supposed to be the teleserye where sisters Gretchen and Claudine Barretto will co-star but Claudine Barretto transfered to GMA-7.

The Kapamilya Network here is posing threat on GMA-7, this whole new programs are guaranteed to soar high in ratings. And the casts of this new programs are the biggest names in showbiz today. GMA-7 should work harder now because recent survey shows that the Kapuso network is lately being out-edged by the Kapamilya Network in the ratings, in Mega Manila and Nationwide. ABS-CBN is giving GMA a run for their money.
