After the death of Human Torch, the Fantastic Four is down to just three members, but that wouldn't be long because they will be joined by New York's web slinging guardian Spider-Man!

But aside from having a new member, the group will also have a new name, they will now be called the Future Foundation. Starting in FF No. 1, Spider-Man will join Mr. Fantastic, The Thing and the Invisible woman in a bid to protect the Marvel Universe from new threats, Marvel said Wednesday. The first issue is due out March 23.

The Fantastic Four ended in issue No. 588 this month, after the Human Torch aka Johnny Storm died in issue No.587. Future Foundation series is also written by Jonathan Hickman and drawn by Steve Epting.

This latest development from the well loved comic book series from Marvel is awesome, after the demise of Human Torch, the Fantastic Four is renamed into Future Foundation and they will be joined by the Amazing Spider-Man wow! The Fantastic Four are already formidable, and now they are joined by yet another strong and magnificent super hero Spider-Man, this is exciting! I don't usually buy comic books, but with this monumental forming of the Future Foundation, I might as well  rush to get the first edition of this comic book from Marvel.
