Marian Rivera Top-bills an "Original Soap" for the First Time

After six months of hiatus, Marian Rivera is back on primetime via GMA Network's epicserye "Amaya". Marian was last seen on the remake of the Koreanovela "Endless Love" with Dingdong Dantes and Dennis Trillo.


Marian Rivera is very excited not only because she is back in doing primetime soaps but also because this is the first time that she will be starring an original soap opera and not a remake.

The GMA Network launched Marian Rivera in the remake of the Mexicanovela "Marimar". It was followed by Mars Ravelo's classic comic novel "Dyesebel", then the remake of the 80s comics novel and movie "Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang", and again with Mars Ravelo's popular Super Heroin "Darna" and the remake of the Koreanovela "Endless Love"

I think it's good that the GMA Network have decided to give the "Amaya" project to Marian Rivera. The fans are tired of watching Marian Rivera do remake teleseryes, she needs to evolve a bit and she needs to do something new.
