Andrea Torres is featured in the latest story-line of GMA-7's "Pari Koy", and the Kapuso Network is publicizing it a huge milestone for the telebabad show.
They say that it will be a different Andrea Torres like we've never seen before and they want us to watch how Andrea's character will play a major role in Dingdong Dantes' priesthood in "Parikoy".
Well honestly, Andrea's appearance in the telebabad show doesn't make any sense and is an absolute non-material.
This is just the Kapuso network's way of selling Andreas body to the televiewers and to keep her push as a Kapuso sexy starlet. This is also their way to keep their stars from being stagnant.
"Parikoy" is a big dissapointment, at first we thought that it's a show that would show us religious values, it was even recommended by the CBCP. We thought that it would be the one to end the "kabit" trend in Philippine TV. But what happend is this: father Kokoy(dingdong dantes) had an affair with a woman and had a child, and in one episode where Jillian Ward got possesed by a demon, instead of father Kokoy exorcising the demon by the power of God, he begged for the demon to leave the child, what kind of a priest would ask the demon a favor as if it was the most powerful being in the world? Is this the kind of value they want to teach us? This is an example of GMA-7's inconsistency.
They do not how to stand up for their product. This show is a disgrace and disrespectful to our values and should not be recommended for family viewing, it's good that it's currently rated SPG by the MTRCB.
