Tomita is in critical condition after receiving nearly two dozen stab wounds in the neck and chest. The police found 27-year old suspect Tomohiro Iwazaki on the scene.
According to police, Iwazaki admitted the crime and explained that he did it after Tomita returned a gift that he gave to her without explaining the reason for returning it.
