Yesterday, Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal were featured in 24 Oras' Chika Minute. Both of them expressed how excited they are to be reunited in "Machete". Kris Bernal made a confession that she and Aljur almost had a serious relationship during their AlKris days. But of course we all know that it was just a gimmick to promote the AlKris reunion in "Machete", it is obvious that GMA-7 wants the televiewers to believe that something almost went on between Aljur and Kris so that the fans of their former love team will come back and watch "Machete" to save it's ratings.

Kris Bernal Joins the Cast of Machete?

There are reports that Kris Bernal will be reuniting with his former love team Aljur Abrenica in Machete. Yup, Kris Bernal will join the cast of Machete to replace Gwen Zamora whose character will be killed.

If this happens, Machete will be Kris' next TV series after top-billing the no. 1 afternoon soap in the country Koreana which will be ending soon. Gwen Zamora on the other hand will join the cast of another GMA afternoon soap Alakdana.

GMA-7's newest afternoon soap "Nita Negrita" starring Barbie Forteza as the title role debuted strong in the Nationwide ratings during it's pilot telecast last Monday February 14, 2011. This is based from the Kantar  Media National Ratings for February 14 and 15, 2011. "Nita Negrita" bested it's rival program "Malparida" from ABS-CBN.

The Negative Issues Involving Barbie Forteza and Joshua Dionisio is Loosing Steam

The issue that Barbie Forteza and Joshua Dionisio conspired with GMA Artist Center to remove their co-star Kristoffer Martin from the cast of GMA's newest afternoon soap "Nita Negrita" is loosing steam. This is according to a post from Malaya Business Insight Entertainment Section.

This issue on the alleged "power" of young love team Barbie Forteza and Joshua Dionisio to take away an actor from their latest soap opera, "Nita Negrita" is starting to lose steam.

It is evident that Kristoffer Martin is the only one left talking about it even if he doesn’t have anything new to add to his earlier complaint. We can’t blame him since the association will most likely earn him a recall. Much like how Bela Padilla earned hers when she started to talk about Marian Rivera.

According to our source, Joshua and Kristoffer have a long-standing gap from way back when they were still in another network. This gap has gone on to involve even their respective families.

A source said Kristoffer fabricated an issue against Joshua that started the rumor that latter was gay. Joshua, naturally, got mad and so did his parents.

In this new soap on GMA, we were told it was not Joshua who requested for Kristoffer to be taken out of "Nita Negrita," but his parents. But Joshua goes along with whatever happens.

Poor Barbie just got caught in the fray, being a good friend to Joshua.

"Eat Bulaga!" Clobbers "Happy Yipee Yehey" On it's Pilot Telecast

"Eat Bulaga!" Overwhelmingly clobbered ABS-CBN's newest noontime show "Happy Yipee Yehey" which premiered last Saturday February 12, 2011. This report came from the Philippine Entertainment Portal's Scoopbox posted earlier today.

According to AGB Nielsen, the longest running noontime show got a 12% Individual People Ratings and a 27.3% Household Ratings while it's newest competitor got 5.1% Individual People's Ratings and 11.1% Household Ratings.

"My Valentine Girls" Earns P135 Million in Just 3 Days?

"My Valentine Girls" earned a whopping P135 Million in it's first 3 days of showing making it the all time biggest 3 day gross for a Tagalog or even a Foreign film shown in the country. This is according to the reports by Ric Camaligan of the National Cinema Association of the Philippines via the Philippine Entertainment Portal's Scoopbox.

Ric Camaligan's Statement:

“It has been a record-breaking 2011 start for GMA Films and Regal Entertainment. My Valentinte Girls’s total gross for the 1st 3 days reached an all-time high of P135 million – the biggest 3 day gross for a Tagalog/Foreign film, breaking all box office records.” 

NBA Soon to Air on ABS-CBN and Studio 23

After ABS-CBN Sports and Solar TV Networks had an agreement to air the PBA(Philippine Basketball Association) live games on Studio 23, the two networks have also signed an agreement to air the NBA(National Basketball Association) on Studio 23 and ABS-CBN. The NBA telecasts will start on February 19, 2011. The regular season games will be broadcast on Studio 23 the Kabarkada Network, while the Playoffs and Finals will be seen on ABS-CBN 2.

A Barbienatic sent me a link on my Facebook which contains a malicious article about Barbie Forteza and Joshua Dionisio (JoshBie). The article came from a tabloid and it says that Barbie Forteza and Joshua Dionisio conspired with the GMA Artist Center to remove their Tween Hearts co-star Kristoffer Martin from the cast of GMA-7's upcoming afternoon soap "Nita Negrita" starring of course Barbie Forteza and Joshua Dionisio.

There is a big possibility that we might see Marian Rivera and Anne Curtis together in one movie. Reports say that Viva Films and Regal Films are arranging an exchange deal involving their respective talents.

Viva Films will lend Anne Curtis to Regal films to do the remake of the movie "Temptation Island" with Marian Rivera, and in return Marian Rivera will also do a movie with Viva Films. Originally, Carla Abellana was supposed to be the co-star of Marian Rivera in "Temptation Island" but Viva Films and Regal Films came up with this exchange deal but reports says that Anne Curtis haven't decided yet whether she will accept the offer or not.

Randy Santiago, John Estrada, Mariel Rodriguez and Toni Gonzaga to Host ABS-CBN's Upcoming Noontime Show?

ABS-CBN will be launching a new noontime show which will replace the recently axed "Pilipinas Win na Win". (lagi kasi kumakain ng alikabok ang "Showtime"). The title of the said noontime show is yet to be announced but reports said that it is coming sometime this February.

Reports also said that the hosts of this upcoming noontime show from the Kapamilya Network will be Randy Santiago, John Estrada, Mariel Rodriguez and Toni Gonzaga, some reports also includes the name of Aiai Delas Alas. Both Randy and John worked with "Willing Willie" host Willie Revillame in the defunct noontime shows "Magandang Tanghali Bayan" and "Masayang Tanghali Bayan". Mariel Rodriguez was also a co-host of Willie Revillame in "Wowowee" is now also defunct. Aiai Delas Alas also became a co-host of "Magandang Tanghali Bayan" and MTB: Ang Saya Saya!. On the other hand, Toni Gonzaga was a former co-host of the Longest Running and still Unbeatable noontime show "Eat Bulaga!" which is seen on GMA-7 from Monday to Saturday. Toni Gonzaga in fact started her hostin career on EB and she was the one who started the EB catch praise "Dabarkads" (naaalala ko yon).
